Buying a laptop from a US seller. Curious about customs
Hello everyone on the forum
As the title says, I’d like to buy a Laptop that is in the United States. The price is great, the shipping cost a little less so, but still affordable.
The question is this: if I were to buy this item, which offers worldwide shipping, is it guaranteed to arrive? Is it guaranteed that the shipping and tax costs are only those shown at checkout?
Have you had experiences like this? Thanks everyone

Mentore2 years agoIf the listing indicates international shipping via the eBay International Shipping program
(https://pages.ebay.it/international-shipping/), the listing shows the customs fees.
Keep in mind that you have to pay:
5-6% duties on the total price (including shipping);
22% VAT on the total (duties included);
15-20 euros for the carrier's fees.
What is left over from these calculations, you will pay to the carrier. Remember to always ask for a receipt; if you pay something twice, eBay (upon request and with proof of the double payment) will refund it to you.
bye
