Purchases from the UK to Italy: are there any costs other than the payment?

Hi everyone! If I buy from the UK to Italy, on the purchase confirmation page, eBay tells me that the payment of shipping costs does not include any import fees... so I’d like to ask you: besides the obvious payment at the time of purchase, will I have to pay again? For example when the package enters Italy.

yes, since this is an import from a non-EU country, you will have to face additional costs when the package is delivered.

If it is not paid in advance, you will have to pay Italian VAT on the total amount paid (shipping included); if the item’s value exceeds €150, you will have to pay duties (usually 10 to 30% more), then there are customs and carrier charges that depend on the courier that will take charge of the package once it enters Italy.
