Hello
how is it possible that we can no longer buy outside Italy if the seller sets the shipping cost
if the seller does not plan to sell outside their own country at the buyer's request, it should be the seller's decision and not eBay's with additional options that no one checks
therefore I used to buy a lot outside Italy, now it is no longer possible
for all items where there is no shipping cost, it is no longer possible to ask the seller; this wording appears;
Unfortunately this item cannot be shipped to Italy. Your preferred shipping address is in a country/geographic area to which the seller does not ship. Please contact the seller for further information. (5010)

Mentore3 years ago.....Anyway, sometimes they don’t flat-out refuse shipping; they prefer to first take a look at the buyer’s profile and feedback.
More than once I asked for shipping to Italy (before making offers) and every time they replied positively, telling me the costs, then after I’d won the item (or after I’d added it to the cart) I sent a private message asking for the invoice with the total.

yes I also asked for shipping to Italy and the cost and everyone accepted and then they sent the invoice to pay now it’s impossible with a clause that many don’t know put in by eBay makes it impossible you can request the shipping and the cost that the seller sends you but you can’t make offers that eBay doesn’t accept
try eBay in Germany where the seller doesn’t set up shipping and try to make offers and you’ll understand

Mentore3 years agoThe ones I was referring to were two listings in France, I was able to both make the offer and request the invoice via message. Whereas it was impossible to request it with the "ask for the total" button because the message appeared that the seller did not ship to Italy.

I think it's an obvious thing, one that avoids wasting time on both sides... after all, foreign sellers are not obliged, nor can you force them, to ship to Italy...
You just need to refine the search and find sellers who are willing to ship to our country too...
