Purchased at auction by mistake
I made an offer for an item at auction by mistake ( it was my wife with her smartphone without glasses) I contacted the seller right away to explain the mistake since there were still 4 days left before the deadline, he didn't reply to me, then once the auction expired I contacted him again and again several times but he never answers me, now the item stays in my cart to be paid and the seller isn't getting in touch, and ebay doesn't step in. What should I do?

Mentore3 years agoThe seller has no obligation to cancel your order. Ebay still doesn't step in because it's too early.
You will have four days to pay; if you don't, then ebay will step in, but it will do so to warn you as a non-paying user. The first warning has no effect; from the next ones on, you will have increasing restrictions on operating on ebay.
From now on, don't forget to put your glasses on before making binding bids, ebay is not a game.
