purchase with return
good morning, I bought an item that arrived damaged. I asked for a return, but the seller never sent me the label to do it. I asked eBay to step in, which it did, and it closed the transaction with a refund, and the damaged item stayed with me at home.
at this point the seller told me he would report me for unlawful appropriation if I don't send the item back to him at my own expense.
I replied that he should take it up with eBay.
is that correct? I am always willing to send the item back to the seller if he sends me a prepaid slip. can you tell me if I did the right thing or if I really risk being reported?

Mentore2 years agoMandagli un messaggio tramite ebay in cui gli dici che il suo oggetto lo hai tu in custodia e che può riprenderselo a sue spese inviandoti un’etichetta prepagata. Scrivigli anche che potrai tenerlo in custodia solo per 20 giorni e poi sarai costretto a disfartene.
In questo modo la sua improbabile denuncia non avrà effetto.
