Purchase of an item received incomplete

Good morning, just to ask whether it’s possible, instead of opening a return request for an item that arrived incomplete, to request completion of it by shipping the missing part. In fact, I’d prefer for the order to be completed and not closed with a return, which I believe EBAY suggested to me, thanks

No. The correct procedure provided by eBay is a return. https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-refunds/restituisci-un-oggetto-cambio-di-un-rimborso?id=4041&st=7&po=2&uci=0&ri=0

Then you can also agree with the seller to wait for the order to be completed or for a partial refund.

Do not close the procedure until you have obtained what you agreed on with the seller and do not let it be closed because the deadline has passed (it remains open for only 21 days).
