It happened to me that I bought an iPhone. The auction started at a low amount and reached €1000, and I won it. The item is described as new, never opened. The market value of the item is about €1800.After winning the auction, the seller sends me a message saying they can't accept payment by credit card as shown on the site because they are changing the payment method to bank account transfer.From my experience with eBay, when a payment is made in a different way from the one agreed on the site, it is not guaranteed by eBay and therefore in case of non-delivery of the item, for example, there is no coverage and no protection from eBay.
