Purchase in England from EU (Greece) and VAT charged.
Hello, I’m in the EU (Greece) and today I had to pay the VAT imposed by customs.
The VAT, however, had already been added automatically by eBay. Is it possible that you have to pay VAT twice?
I contacted the seller and he told me that he does not impose or withhold the VAT; eBay does everything automatically.
I would be very grateful if someone could help me understand.

Mentore1 year agoThere may have been a documentation error by the seller.
If you're sure you paid VAT twice, just submit to eBay the receipt for the VAT paid to the courier, and eBay will refund the amount it collected.
