Charge after adding a new payment method

Question

Hi everyone, I added a new payment method to my account, and after the two standard verification transactions of €0.01 in and out, I found myself charged €0.40 for no apparent reason.

What are these charges for? I sold a couple of items but the funds still haven’t been released to me, and I had also done two regular auctions with no additional costs.

Should I contact support?

I’m afraid it’s an issue with your checking account (or your card account); they charge you 40 cents for every direct debit (basically, they make you pay a fee on every payment and therefore also on the cent leaving the account). One of these accounts, with indirect costs, is the postepay evolution.
