Charge to the account without having sold the item
A user had purchased it, but unfortunately I no longer had the item in question and I didn’t have time to remove it from the site..then he was fully refunded after the buyer himself had opened a dispute procedure with eBay...so the item was not sold...but eBay sent me a charge...Why is that??

Mentore3 years agoIf you didn’t cancel the transaction right away and, in the dispute, you delayed the refund and forced eBay to step in, they charged you the selling fees. If it’s 5% + 35 cents, that seems fair to me.

We should be as precise as possible when asking for support...
We can make assumptions, since as a new seller your funds are held for at least 15 days, so if the refund happens before the release date, you have to front the money yourself...
Or you used non-free selling options... or, if it’s 35 cents, that’s normal, it’s the fixed sales fee...
