Help
Summary: m8cfqf bought a pool on eBay that, once assembled and filled, turned out to be punctured. Although the seller tried to help, they directed m8cfqf to Bestway for a solution. Bestway requires that the pool be taken apart and rendered unusable before providing a replacement liner, a solution that m8cfqf finds impractical and is seeking advice on how to proceed in this situation.
I bought a large new 10x5 pool on eBay, had it assembled and filled with 50,000 liters of water, and I did the treatment. The pool turned out to be punctured and I could only see it once it was filled. The seller did take action, but only in his own favor, because he asked me to contact Bestway and have them send me a new liner, assuring me that the new liner would arrive without me having to dismantle my punctured pool. Bestway tells me that I have to dismantle my punctured pool, cut it up, and make it unusable, and only then will they send me a new liner. In this case I refused, because emptying 50,000 liters of water, taking apart a pool, cutting it up, disposing of everything, and then waiting to fill the other one is a disaster. What should I do?

Mentore3 months agoIf you don't want to accept the manufacturer's proposal, ask for a return and refund; the return shipping costs will be covered by the seller.

Unfortunately, this won't save you from having to empty and dismantle the pool.
