alpine 3525
I bought an Alpine 3525 amplifier from a guy in Germany, I asked for clarification as to whether the unit was in good condition and whether everything worked, and the answer was yes. I made the payment in advance as usual; I should point out that I have sold and bought for thousands of euros without ever having had problems with anyone, سواء in selling or in receiving. The unit arrives and the RCA jacks don't work, I write to the seller and he doesn't reply, I get the unit repaired because I need it, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it, and I leave negative feedback. At that point the seller comes out with stories that he received nothing, etc. etc., that he is an honest seller and so on and so forth, but is it really possible that scum like this still exists? Now not only have I received a broken unit, but I'm also getting not exactly polite messages from this person. What should I do with eBay? How can I start this report so that people who sell become a bit more serious?
thanks

Mentore3 years agoWith all due respect, the buyer also needs to be more serious... if the item turns out to be not as described, there is a clear procedure for requesting a return and the resulting refund.
If you have it repaired at your own expense, you can’t blame the seller... who is not obliged to reply to your messages, but to an official return request, yes, that they are obliged to do!
Best regards.

OP3 years agonow they’re going to say the buyer is at fault for the fact that it arrived broken, and then they say Italy is going down the drain... oh well...

Mentore3 years agoOf course not... but blaming you for having it repaired at your own expense, absolutely yes!
Kind regards.
