Terapeak analysis: how does eBay calculate the average selling price?
Good evening,
I would kindly like to ask you a question.
How does eBay calculate the average sale price of products searched through Terapeak analysis?
For example, an item I searched for and sold at 89.10 is shown as having sold for 86,08 (and it is the only one sold in the selected period).
What is the reason for the price difference?
Thank you very much.

Mentore2 years agoHello,
I made the same search using the EAN over the last 6 months and 2 sold items came up, including yours.
During the "life" of the listing, you made several changes to the price, it may be that these are taken into account; it shows as having been sold for €89.58.
Best regards.

OP2 years agoHello,
First of all, thank you for your reply.
It still seems strange, because before being sold at 89.10, the item was listed at 99.00, its list price, and averaging it out it should not come to 86.08; moreover, you are seeing a different price from the one I am seeing.
I just made another test, and the price I am seeing is 86.66, yet another different figure.
Thank you anyway for your availability.
Kind regards.
