hello, I placed a bid on an item but then I changed my mind, I hadn’t seen properly beforehand what it was really like and I’d like to withdraw my bid. eBay says to contact the seller who can cancel it, but he says that German eBay doesn’t do that. I followed the instructions to cancel it but it’s impossible. why is it so hard to contact eBay support? I keep going in circles, click here, click there, and then I always end up back at the start without being able to cancel my bid. they say I have to click on help and support and then the dropdown should appear and from there I can cancel everything, but that’s not true. the cancellation isn’t on the dropdown. so annoying, this eBay where solving one thing is a tragedy.

if you made a mistake, it’s right to take responsibility... you can only withdraw an offer in certain situations, try reading here:
