Cancel order without card

Discussion interactions are currently paused.

The buyer paid for the order. I’m unable to ship the item to him because I can’t find it. On top of that, his payment hasn’t reached me because I hadn’t registered the card, and now in order to refund him eBay is asking me to register it, but I don’t want to. I’d prefer that eBay itself return the money to him since it’s pending. Is that possible?

Obviously no... if you accepted the user agreement when you registered and also accepted the rules for sellers... you need to know that you have to issue the refund out of your own pocket... then eBay will pay your earnings into the IBAN you registered on your account... if I don't enter either a card or an IBAN, debt collection will come knocking at your door and your funds will remain on your account indefinitely.
