Cancel return help
Summary: The discussion concerns vincdem0's request for help to cancel a return, with marioelegio who appears to be involved in the conversation on several occasions. There are no specific details in the posts, but it seems to be a request for technical or logistical support.
Good evening, this is the first order I’ve placed on eBay. I picked up a pair of alloy wheels; at first the tire shop couldn’t mount them, so I asked for a return. Later, after talking to the seller, the tire shop managed to mount the wheels. Not knowing how to cancel the return, I called eBay and canceled the return, but it opened a dispute. I closed the dispute, stating again that I’ll keep the item because they’re perfect. Now the seller is telling me, in an aggressive way too, that the money I paid shows as blocked on his end. After how much time will it be unblocked? Thanks a lot

Mentore1 year agoInstead of closing the return process, you asked eBay to step in and they blocked the payment.
Close the process, if possible… https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-refunds/restituisci-un-oggetto-cambio-di-un-rimborso?id=4041#section6

OP1 year agoI closed the dispute myself by entering that I made a mistake with the return and that I’m keeping the item, did I do the right thing? Will the seller’s money be unlocked? Thanks a lot

OP1 year agoBut the problem is that on another page it shows up like this, then I click dispute details and it tells me it’s closed

Mentore1 year agoBoth things are showing: that you closed the procedure and that you asked for eBay's intervention.
Use the link at the bottom of the page that I had attached and ask eBay support to call you.
bye

OP1 year agoOkay, thanks a lot. By asking eBay to intervene, I think that after I closed the dispute and eBay sided with the seller, eBay will do the same, right? Because I simply want the seller to receive the money so the problem gets resolved
