Hearing aid announcement
Good evening, about 2 months ago I posted an ad for the sale of new hearing aids. From online research, this type of device appears to be sellable from private individual to private individual as long as it is specified that the “calibration” of the device must be done by a prosthetist.
I receive an offer that I accept. After 2 hours the ad is deleted because it is declared not in compliance with the rules.

Mentore1 week agoThe sale of new class IIa medical devices is regulated by law and cannot be carried out by a private individual.
A private individual can sell a hearing aid only as used, but not on eBay. The platform may apply stricter rules to protect buyers.
Hearing aids may be put up for sale only by sellers registered with the Health Professions Council (the English body responsible for recognizing foreign qualifications). Sellers must state their registration number in the listing
