announcement to delete from eBay of sold items.
How can I delete from eBay the sales listing for a garden table and 4 chairs that I no longer have since February? I didn't sell through eBay but through Facebook to someone from my town. So from then until now I haven't received a single euro, but if I understood correctly eBay refunded 30 euros to a stranger and he is a scammer. It's clear that I no longer have the items to sell. Please help me, thanks. It's not fair for eBay to protect thieves without establishing the facts. Kind regards.

ebay can’t know if you sell the item outside the platform... so you have to be quick to close the listing.
If you didn’t do that and then you sold the item on ebay too and they didn’t pick it up but paid for it... it’s obvious that ebay would then refund the buyer!
So what scam are you talking about??
Probably the buyer will also think they’ve been scammed!!
