Slightly inaccurate anomaly in the search function
Well, if I set a search in a price range on eBay, what does it do? It cuts out the ones with the lowest price 'to simplify'. The sellers with the items not shown must be happy!!!

Mentore2 years agoIf you set a range, it cuts off above and below.
If you set only the upper price, it cuts off only above.

OP2 years agoI dunno. In any case it’s wrong, to put it mildly. Let’s say Ciccio Formaggio puts iPhones up for sale with an auction starting at 20 euros, or at 20 euros because he has problems and wants to get rid of them... ‘my business’.. Pinco Pallino does a search with parameters that would return x results, including Ciccio Formaggio’s phone. Ebay doesn’t show them all ‘to make it easier for you’, it explains that it cut out the cheaper ones and tells you that if you want you can see them. At this point, if I were the one who posted the listing, I’d feel wronged, cheated, right??

Mentore2 years agoThe thing seems clear to me... if you set a range, for example from €50 to €100, it's normal that eBay cuts out the items that cost less and more, otherwise what would be the point of your search?
So don't set a range and check based on other parameters, like cheaper ones, etc...
There are lots of search options...
Best regards.

OP2 years agoThanks, but you didn't get it or I didn't explain myself well. If we take your example, cut that too - I mean - that cost between 50 and 55!

Mentore2 years agoIf you set the range between 50 and 55, eBay correctly cuts out all those that cost less than 50 and more than 55.
