Open dispute for item return
Summary: The discussion concerns an open dispute over the return of an item, with interactions between shardana79 and marioelegio. Specific details about the points raised or resolutions are not provided in the text.
Good morning, I found myself forced to open a dispute to obtain a refund of the amount paid for a non-working item, since the seller did not respond to my return request. Now, eBay has already authorized the refund in my favor. I would like to know how I should proceed with returning the item; I have not received any instructions on how to handle it, nor any dates by which to confirm the shipment, etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

OP1 year agoThank you very much for the help. I’ll send the request to the seller right away.

Mentore1 year agoSend a message to the seller.
You write to them that the item is at their disposal and that you will return it to them if they provide you with a prepaid shipping label.
You also write to them that, if they do not arrange it within 15 days, you will be forced to get rid of it.

OP1 year agoThanks for the advice, but my doubt is, above all, whether there isn't a procedure required by ebay, seeing as ebay is the one issuing the refund.

Mentore1 year agoWhen eBay issues the refund, it closes the case.
There remains a relationship between you and the seller, so, to avoid them accusing you of embezzlement, you need to free yourself from the duty of safekeeping by sending them that communication.
