strange buyer

On March 1, a user buys my mini PC that I had listed for sale. In the notes, he writes to me: "Make sure it is delivered to me personally to avoid theft."
That already seemed strange to me. As a straightforward person, I write to him via eBay asking whether he prefers shipping with BRT or Poste. I wait for his reply, but since no response comes on March 2, on March 3 I go ahead with the shipment, still respecting the expected time frame (I had indicated 2 days for shipping plus 2/3 days for delivery by courier). So far, everything is regular.
The same day I ship, the user finally replies. Then, unbelievably, he opens a dispute for "item not received," even though the tracking is being updated regularly. But is it possible that eBay allows a dispute to be opened even when the shipment is still in progress?

OP1 year agoI didn't ship it on Tuesday the 4th, so everything's in order it's just that the post office was supposed to deliver it on the 6th/7th, but now it says delivery has been pushed to Monday the 10th, but he had already told me as of the 5th that he would open a dispute.

OP1 year agoOr was I just unlucky to find a buyer like that?

OP1 year agoI don't understand why he's doing this. From the very beginning, he started writing that I hadn't shipped on time and adding other criticisms, without even saying hello. Isn't he trying to be sneaky?

Mentore1 year agoThe reasons why he does it, we can't know...
Did you send it late?
If you want targeted help, it would be better to describe what happened in detail, otherwise whoever replies to you can only speculate.
Thanks.

OP1 year agoDid he open it on eBay? What do you mean by the method

Mentore1 year agoYou receive the message from ebay, but you will see written in the dispute that he opened it on the payment method, namely Paypal...
On ebay it is not possible to open a report before the delivery deadline has expired.

Mentore1 year agoHe probably opened it on the payment method... not on eBay...
Kind regards.
