Purchase and request invoice
Hello, at the time of purchase I immediately contacted the seller (GRECO) sending my details to receive an invoice.
He sent me the eBay form with 21% VAT, telling me that he does not issue invoices because I bought on eBay and that this is the usual practice, being a company; moreover, I also have a shop on eBay, I told him that this is not the case, but that he must, "as I do", issue an invoice if a customer asks for it. He dismissed me by saying that this is not the case. Can you tell me something more precise? Thanks

if you want an invoice from a foreign seller, you need to ask for it before buying, especially if you also have a VAT number, because they should issue it without VAT... but on eBay you’ll hardly be able to get one, since the system doesn’t allow it... and it doesn’t allow reversing or not paying VAT either.
Anyway, are you sure it was a professional seller?
