Item returned to sender as it was not delivered by Italian Post
I sold an item and, after receiving the payment, I shipped it properly with ordinary Poste Italiane parcel post. After 7 days, when their couriers still hadn’t managed to deliver it, it came back to me. Now the buyer is demanding that I resend it at my expense...he has already opened a dispute for item not received...what should I do? Maybe he was simply on vacation and so he wasn’t at home....

If it’s a valuable item and you’re still within the time limit, it’s better to get proof of attempted delivery (POD) by calling the Post Office toll-free number.
