Vintage item for collectors
As a private seller, I sold a swatch watch that is now vintage, never worn and working. I do not accept returns because, as I always state, it is a collectible item; water resistance is no longer guaranteed and the plastic parts of the strap are no longer as soft as they once were. From the messages, the customer first wore it, then took it apart, and now says it no longer works, but as a private seller, who is supposed to protect me? Thanks to anyone who replies.

Mentore2 years agoIf the buyer opens a return request for an item not as described, they have 30 days to do so for any reason, there’s nothing you can do about it, you have to handle it or lose both money and the item.
Even if you’re a private seller, it makes no difference, you chose to sell online.
