Auctions on eBay
Hello everyone. I wanted to ask why it has happened to me several times to be the highest bidder in public auctions here on eBay, even yesterday morning just a few seconds before the deadline, I wanted to bid a little more to be sure I won the auction. When the count was over, convinced I had won with my bid, I got an email in my inbox saying I had lost the auction because someone else had bid more, even 30 euros more!!!! Something doesn’t add up for me, I wanted to write to eBay management but I can’t find any address or place here where I can do that. Does anyone of you know if what happened to me is normal or not? Thanks in advance.

yes, it's normal, there are last-second bids... in fact, there are even bots that place them on our behalf, of course programmed by whoever wants to win the auction!
