Good morning everyone,
I’m here to point out the latest trick (maybe an old one, but it’s the first time it’s happened to us) involving buyer scams with Posta 1. Recently we sold a product and, as usual, shipped it with Posta 1; after X time the customer complains that the item hasn’t arrived and opens a dispute. We send out a replacement order of the same item, and the customer complains again that the piece still hasn’t arrived. WARNING: the customer contacts us on Whatsapp and not on eBay. After another 5 days we give up and issue a full refund, and 8 minutes later the product shows as delivered: the nice lady left the package in storage awaiting the refund, then went to pick up the parcel and scam us out of 9 euros.
We’ll contact eBay tomorrow morning to see what to do; if eBay doesn’t help us, we’ll file a complaint (not over 9 euros, but on principle)

I’ve never heard of a Posta 1 that isn’t trackable being marked as held in storage!
Unless the buyer works at the post office or has the complicity of the mail carrier, what you’re saying seems impossible to me.

Mentore1 year agoAs a matter of principle, you should be registered as a professional seller.
So for 206-05 (not just by eBay rules) you would be responsible for the transaction until the item is in the buyer’s hands. Any untracked shipment exposes you to these risks, and posta1 only has proof of delivery, but it is not tracked.

OP1 year agoWe are registered as professional, it's a system bug that shows as "private", if you open our profile it appears "professional seller"
