Allocation of return shipping costs for the item. Seller sent the wrong item.
Hello, I bought an item on this platform, but the item the seller sent me is not what I asked for or what was described, even though I sent them everything needed to send me the exact item. Now, since it’s not my fault, why should I have to pay the shipping costs? In my return request I specified: “item not as described” because if the seller made the mistake, why should I have to pay the return shipping costs for the product?

An item can be inappropriate for you, even if it was exactly as described by the seller in the listing (for example, you bought a size L and a size L arrived, but for you it’s not the right size because it doesn’t fit you well. In this case, if the seller accepts it, you can return the item at your own expense).
You should have indicated that the product received does not match the description (or the photos) in the listing. If you had indicated the correct procedure, the return shipping costs would have been covered by the seller.
