I’d like an opinion on this behavior:A seller lists 4 identical items for 160 euros.It’s a fairly sought-after item; about a dozen users are watching it (myself included) and a couple of users have it in their cart.He receives purchase offers.He sells 2.Purchase offers keep coming in.I make an offer for both of the 2 remaining items at 140 euros each.Meanwhile I add them to my cart at full price (2 x 160 euros).A few hours pass.At this point the seller changes the price to 299 euros,and sends me a counteroffer for 190 euros each.I check whether from my cart I can still buy them at 2x160, but there too they’ve gone up to 2 x 299 euros.This wasn’t a typing mistake on the seller’s part, for example 160 euros instead of 1600; he simply noticed there was interest in the items and revalued the price, but in the middle of sales and with negotiations in progress and the item in carts.At the same time, he also increased the price of another listing of 23 items, 19 of which were sold, identical to the first ones but declared as untested / not working, initially sold for 80 euros and raised to 150.Am I being picky, or is this behavior not entirely correct?Should I report it?Sorry, I’m not an eBay expert.Thanks in advance to anyone who wants to reply.
