Fund freeze
Good morning,
my account was blocked after I made some sales even though I did not commit any irregularities, the items were shipped through eBay shipping service and all were regularly delivered with positive feedback received. eBay in the meantime has blocked my funds (over 2500 euros) for more than two weeks. What should I do to get the funds unblocked? Since I got the account sales blocked I have been sending requests for information on the status of the funds but I am not getting any responses.

Mentore3 years agoYou carried out an important activity with a private account, they will certainly have asked you for additional documents (invoices, supply contracts, etc....) and also, under the DAC7 directive, they will have reported you to the tax authority. In the meantime, while waiting for clarification, they have blocked your funds.
It seems to me they can do that for more than 6 months, check the terms of service you accepted when you started your activity.

OP3 years agoI sold my private collection of model railroading (over 15
years of sacrifices …). They didn’t ask me for any further documentation …

Mentore3 years agoSorry, but the "little story" about the private collection doesn’t really hold water...
If it’s a "temporary" block given the nature of the activity, on the following page you’ll find the unlock timing:
Pending payments | eBay
If you don’t find anything, wait for a series of documents that eBay will ask you for; if you’re able to meet their request, you’ll see your funds unlocked quickly, otherwise, as Mario already said, they’ll block them for at least 6 months.
