BLOCK FUNDS
Good morning,
I should say upfront that I’m not a huge seller on ebay (about 3 sales). On Sunday I sold a Canon flash and a lens; the first one was delivered yesterday (with a positive feedback from the buyer, who of course has already tried the purchase), and the second is expected to be delivered today. Here’s my frustration: for the flash I advanced the shipping costs, which were paid the next working day after the transaction, entered the shipping code on ebay, received messages of approval and satisfaction from the buyer, who leaves me positive feedback. I contact ebay to request an early release and the answer is no. I understand and agree with the platform’s security, but if the item has been received and everything went well, why hold on to the money? I find it extremely unfair; I sold out of necessity and not to play at being a little shopkeeper

Mentore3 years agoThe seller’s responsibility does not end with delivery and the first feedback. The buyer has 30 days to try out the purchase and decide whether it’s really as described (this is on eBay, because for PayPal and credit card the timeframes are definitely much longer).

Mentore3 years agoIn the rules, which you accepted at the time of registration and the subsequent listing for sale, it says how it works for new sellers, so it’s not incorrect, it’s stated.

Mentore3 years agoYou can find the reason in the rules you agreed to when you registered on ebay... no wrongdoing, if you are a new seller the block is preventive... this is how the rules are cited:
