I just bought an item on eBay and paid for it with PayPal. Then I realized I had accidentally selected “local pickup” instead of shipping. The seller tells me that it no longer lets them modify the item. If they ship it to me even though they ask to verify the qr code, will there be any problems? Thanks

Mentore3 years agoIf he sends it without scanning the QR code, there could be problems for him (if you, in bad faith, declare that you didn't receive the goods, he will have to refund you)
If you give him the QR code, you take the risk because then he won't have any obligation to ship.
Better to cancel this transaction and do it again properly.

OP3 years agoThank you for your response. The problem is that it no longer lets me cancel the transaction, neither for me nor for the seller.

Mentore3 years agoThe seller, if they want, can cancel the transaction. Just follow the instructions.
