Good morning, I think the block on payments is too excessive
Good morning, I find the waiting times for payments to be excessive. When a package has been delivered, the release must be done quickly because shipping costs are not covered by the slow payments, and not least, if I sell an electronic item or maybe an old hobbyist piece, it can’t be that the person who buys it can “play” with it for several days, with the risk that unintentionally, such as a polarity reversal, a drop, or an accident, they could damage it. What do you think? Thanks

Mentore3 years agoThe seller's responsibility does not end with delivery, so I believe that (for sellers whose reliability has not yet been verified) holding payments for 15 days is an appropriate measure.
Keep in mind that eBay buyer protection covers 30 days from delivery; even if you collect the payment, you are still forced to refund the buyer.
eBay is not even the worst problem: with PayPal and credit cards, the risk of having to return the money you collected lasts for a year.
