Change the company name on a business account?
Good morning, can anyone tell me if it’s possible to change the company name of a business account that has a store on eBay?
In my case I would need to change the company from an SNC to an SRL. Is there a procedure?
Would the possible change involve a period during which the store’s sales are suspended?
If so, do you have any idea of how long it might remain closed?
If the store remains closed, does it lose the indexing it has on eBay?
Is there an address I can contact to get this kind of information?

OP2 years agoI contacted support, who told me that I can change the company name and also the VAT number, but I can't change the beneficial owner of the company that manages the account. When I change the company details, eBay takes the time necessary to verify the new details (you have to send the chamber of commerce records for the new company). During that verification period, the store keeps selling, but eBay doesn't send you the money from sales until it has verified the new details.
