change from local pickup to shipping
Hi everyone,
I bought an item with local pickup and paid regularly with PayPal, and I asked the seller if he could (for the extra amount) ship the item instead of me picking it up in person.
The seller is asking me to send him the code I received before the shipment. Do you think this is the correct procedure?

Mentore1 year agoAbsolutely not.
If you bought it with local pickup, you have to go pick up the item yourself, you can’t ask for shipping.
If you now send your pickup code to the seller, you are declaring that you have received the goods and putting yourself in his hands.
If the seller ships without having that code, he will never be able to prove that he delivered the goods to you and will have to hope for your honesty.
As you can see, if you can’t pick up the item, the only solution that can protect everyone is to ask the seller to cancel the sale.

after that I imagine the procedure will automatically be the refund for me who paid with pay pal, correct?
or do I need to do something else?

Mentore1 year agoIf it cancels correctly, the refund is immediate.
