Change shipping method
In agreement with the buyer, who has already paid for the item, we decided to do home pickup, but I don't know how the case gets closed, eBay is still waiting for me to ship the item.
Can the current shipping case be closed? How?

Mentore3 years agoIf the item specifies shipping, you make a big mistake by handing it over in person...
You expose yourself to the risk of a likely dispute for item not received, and you will have no way to prove delivery.
Then it’s up to you... in any case you can’t modify a listing once it has expired... you can cancel the sale and recreate the listing with local pickup only.

Mentore3 years agoIn fact, you couldn’t make an agreement with the buyer and change what had already been decided. You had to cancel the sale, refund, edit the listing, and have the buyer make the purchase again.
Now the case doesn’t get closed and stays open, and you can only hope the buyer doesn’t take advantage of it by asking for a refund.
For eBay it’s impossible to know about your private agreements and, in the event of a claim, it will force you to refund.

OP3 years agoI understand. But I’m in direct contact with the buyer, who agrees with me that the item should be picked up at home. The problem is that the item already shows as paid, so maybe if there’s no other way, I’m forced to send the item by post. Do you agree?
