In March I bought a Samsung S23 Ultra, everything was fine until I realized that the so-called one was for the American market.
Unfortunately the warranty is not provided by good old Samsung, but the main problem is that it has software stuck at 2024 with Android 14. Not only that, but in some spots it doesn’t get any signal compared to another European S23.. What can I do? In the title and in the seller’s description it wasn’t specified, otherwise I would never have bought it. Why was such a thing allowed? Can it be reported?

Why should a Chinese shop specify that it sells a Chinese product made for the Chinese market (or a global one)?
Under international regulations, a distance sale is considered concluded at the seller’s registered office. So it’s you who “went” to China and made the purchase.

Did you only see the price? That phone from us has no warranty and does not match EU network specifications.
