I'm trying to sell an electric scooter, but I get: listing error!
I decided to put a recent electric scooter (ninebot) up for sale, but eBay gives me: listing error; the warning says that you can't sell stuff with batteries...
But I've seen other electr. scoot. And e-bikes for sale on the site.
How come?? My model is recent and everything is in order (approved for riding)

All micromobility devices must meet safety requirements. When you post a listing, select an approved product that already has the necessary certification or upload documentation proving compliance issued by a recognized test laboratory or by the manufacturer.
New micromobility devices (other than e-bikes): must be certified according to the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) and bear the CE marking.. Eligible sellers can list refurbished micromobility devices with new batteries. Selling used micromobility devices is not allowed.
New electric bicycles: must be certified according to the applicable EU regulation, bear the CE marking, and have a maximum motor power of 250 W, for a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Eligible sellers can list refurbished e-bikes with new batteries. Selling used e-bikes is not allowed.

OP5 months agoHello, thanks for the feedback.
but I've seen listings for used scooters from private individuals...how is that possible?
Also, is there really no way for me to put it up for sale despite the fact that I have the original box and manual with serial number and everything else...((the thing isn't even 6 months old....))?
