The latest posts regarding this question date back to way back in 2014.
I wanted to permanently delete some messages still present in the trash
They create real confusion.
Is there a way to permanently delete these messages ?
If eBay could make these changes it would be a relief, I think many other people feel the same way.

Mentore3 years agoNo, messages are deleted within 60 days, unfortunately you can't delete them manually.

Mentore3 years agoTo keep things organized, they can be archived into folders.
Until the archive deadline, they cannot be deleted.
