whoever buys always wins...ebay protects them
hello everyone .
I sent a postcard to a buyer . he had the option to choose between posta 1 and registered mail .
he opted for posta 1 - I took a photo of the letter and took it to the post office where it was mailed in my presence .
after 3 weeks the customer says it hasn't arrived and in fact the tracking code is still showing as being processed on the postal service website.
but this means that I did send it and having the photo of his envelope the address is correct.
well, he opened a dispute and that’s fair enough since it hasn’t reached him, but I shipped it with the method he chose and I can prove with the photo both the code and the address . the postal service isn’t responsible for losses of posta 1, so why does ebay, faced with this evidence, put the blame on me ?
I did exactly what I was asked to do, namely send it with posta 1
I think that a giant like ebay, with the percentage it takes from us even on shipping ( and it’s not clear why') could understand these things....we’re talking about 7 euros ... to me they come out looking really small.
I hope many of you read this rant - talking or writing to them is pointless.

Mentore3 years agoFor professional sellers, Law 206/05 imposes responsibility for transport until delivery into the buyer's hands.
For private sellers, it is eBay's rules that require proof of delivery (proof of handing it over to the carrier is not enough).
The buyer chooses from the options the seller makes available to them, but responsibility always and in any case remains in the seller's hands.
