I ask eBay to restore the negative feedback from a seller toward a buyer, thus creating a buyer reputation and allowing us to act accordingly based on their ratings

Mentore3 years agoAside from the fact that eBay doesn't read here and so it's a request "pulled out of thin air"... negative feedback for the buyer has been abolished since way back in 2008...
Restoring it would make no sense if not to create the reasons all over again to eliminate it once more!
The seller can't choose their buyers and a purchase is binding... if you cancel an order based on prejudice, you'd only end up worsening your own rating... with spite feedback!
Best regards.

Mentore3 years agoThey removed this option (negative FB for the buyer) in May 2008 because it was mostly used as revenge by sellers. Threatened and also left when the buyer had only dared to stand up for his own sacred reasons.
After all, it’s understandable, the only duty of a buyer is to pay. If he has paid, for what other reason would you leave negative FB? Obviously any other comment would easily cross into the offense of defamation.
There wouldn’t even be any use in protecting yourself from scams, it’s easy to open new accounts and no one with bad intentions would be so foolish as to use a compromised account.
