Close the dispute and request cancellation
Good evening, I opened a dispute with a seller with 0 feedback who refuses to ship the item until eBay releases the funds to him. I’m wondering whether it’s possible to request the closure of this dispute and request cancellation of the order to shorten the wait. Is that possible?

Mentore2 years agoThe only way to shorten the time is for the seller to ship, otherwise eBay will never release the money to them.

OP2 years agoYeah, but since he's a "scammer" who tried to get me to pay outside eBay, I'm no longer interested in wasting time with this guy.. so I was wondering if, by withdrawing the dispute, it's possible to request cancellation.. and if he agrees, does it speed up the refund time (paid with PayPal) since eBay will step in in the dispute from March 12 onward..

Mentore2 years agoIt depends on the reason for opening the dispute, because if you close it and he doesn't accept the cancellation request, you might not have the chance to open others.
