Hello everyone. Before buying the item I put up for sale, a user asked me to write to his email to verify the seller’s authenticity. You’re not supposed to do that, but I wrote to him. He replied, asked me for some more information about the item, but very vaguely (considering it’s an iPhone 14 Plus, that’s strange), and then says he sent me the payment on eBay; moreover, with an extra €200 added. To buy the iPhone, a total of €1039 with shipping was needed, but he says he sent me €1239. Why am I getting an email not from him but from this email: www.paymentconfirmation@gmail.com saying that the user has paid €1239 and to proceed with shipping, when in reality nothing has arrived on eBay? Now he says he will proceed with legal action. I get another email, again from www.paymentconfirmation@gmail.com, where I’m ordered to ship the package within 24h otherwise legal action will be taken.
