Hi, I have a question
Hi, how does it work when an item is sold but is handed over in person with payment in cash as a result (also lower than the sale price on the portal), that is, how do I "record" the sale?

If I understood correctly, though, the instructions you shared are mainly useful for the buyer or the seller (me in this case) before posting the listing. My situation is different, namely, I had a listing with shipping set up, but then after talking we agreed on hand delivery. Basically now I can't edit either the listing (which is no longer there because it shows as sold) or the sold item (where it says "pending payment" and gives me some options to edit, for example: cancel the order, mark as paid, etc... I wouldn't want to mark as paid because it shows an amount higher than what I actually received..)

Mentore2 years agoSo, if you want to make the change after the sale, it can’t be done.
If you made arrangements outside the platform, eBay cannot and will not be able to help you in any case, but if you deliver it in person with payment in cash... perhaps, on eBay, it would be better to cancel the sale.
