How can we take action against sellers' abuses?
Summary: The discussion revolves around how to deal with situations of abuse by sellers. gianno0 asks for advice on actions to take, and marioelegio responds, contributing to the dialogue with suggestions or personal experiences. The thread continues with further exchanges between the two, focusing on practical strategies and possible legal avenues for defending themselves in such cases.
I bought 30 strawberry seedlings and only 12 were delivered to me. I reported this to the seller agricoltura-sinergica and he replied that each seedling would produce numerous runners and therefore the 12 seedlings would have turned into well over 30, even over 100. Not only that, he insulted me for my supposed incompetence and verbally abused me, literally calling me dishonest because I was asking him for more than what I had bought and paid for.
Can anyone tell me how to leave feedback or how to get assistance from Ebay?

Mentore1 year agoI’d say first of all to start a return and refund procedure for an item not as described in the listing (received 12 plants instead of the 30 promised). The seller will have to decide whether to issue a partial refund (proportionate to the missing plants) or take them back at their own expense and refund you in full.
https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/restituisci-un-oggetto-cambio-di-un-rimborso?id=4041&st=7&po=2&uci=0&puc=DEFAULT_BUY.BUYER&ri=0
Then you can leave feedback in which you can also describe the seller’s reaction to your refund request. Be careful not to defame them and stick to an objective description of the facts (e.g. Purchased 30 plants, received 12, the seller refuses a refund and I am forced to turn to eBay .....).

OP1 year agoThanks for the advice.
1 – I turned to Ebay, which sided with the seller.
2 – Ebay protects its own customers, that is, the sellers, not the buyers. The latter are customers of the sellers, not of Ebay, despite its reassurances.
3 – For some mysterious reason it’s not possible to leave feedback for this purchase.
4- Result: money thrown away without even the satisfaction of leaving negative feedback.

Mentore1 year agoEBay always protects buyers, even when the problem is unclear and there are different interpretations from the seller and the buyer.
To lean in favor of the seller, there must have been objective evidence.
eBay's customers are the sellers, but without buyers, who purchase with trust and pay in advance, eBay would be worth nothing.

OP1 year agoGood morning and thank you,
the only objective evidence confirmed also by the exchange of messages between me and the seller is that I ordered 30 strawberry seedlings and I was sent 12 strawberry seedlings + 30 Tropea onions.
It is proof that Ebay favors the seller even despite the evidence.
Then I don't understand why it prevents me from posting feedback and even hides the seller's details from me.
And it is not even possible to exchange opinions with a human being at Ebay, which is very different from Amazon's professionalism.
