How to cancel an unjust dispute
Good evening, I would like to cancel a dispute that I wrongly initiated against a seller. I ordered an item but I was convinced I had ordered a different one. When I received the item, thinking I had been cheated, I opened the dispute against the seller, who immediately refunded me the full amount and did not even ask for the item to be returned, so not only is he not at fault, but he lost money and ebay feedback unfairly. I asked him for the address to send the item back to him, after apologizing, but I would also like to cancel the dispute, as it all goes against him. How do you do that?

Mentore2 years agoIf you have been refunded, for ebay the dispute is closed and cannot be cancelled.
After the claim is opened, the seller has 3 days to try to solve the problem, then if you do not ask ebay to intervene nothing happens and the dispute closes (without any effect) on the 21st day.
So not only did you open the claim, but after hearing the seller’s reasons, you explicitly asked for a refund. This is not a mistake.
