I get emails, "your funds are blocked ...." with no explanation and no way to ask. I had put a Latin dictionary up for sale, never sold. I don't use eBay, I get on better with Amazon, at least there's someone to talk to.

Did you only arrange for local pickup, did the buyer get in touch?
