How to trust buyers

I sold my product to a buyer for 700€. He has zero feedback, zero stars.

He’s from GB, Great Britain, but he tells me to ship to an address in Belgium for a gift for a friend of his. Honestly, I canceled the order.

And it’s my first sale on eBay.

What should I do if another user like that contacts me again?

Then how does the payment work? Does he pay first and then I ship?

And is shipping handled by eBay or do I have to do everything myself, label and shipping?

Anyway, never ship to an address different from the one eBay gives you.

With all due respect, before using a marketplace, it’s good practice to read up and inform yourself about how it works... not after you’ve used it!

Thanks for the help. I can't find my answers in the rules. But this isn't the first marketplace I've used. And this one is a bit more complicated for me. I just wanted a hand from you experts. Thanks again

For payment:

Receiving payments for sold items | eBay

For shipping:

Print and cancel shipping labels | eBay

Very easy to find...
