How does the appeal work?
Hello everyone, following a dispute over a return, eBay ruled in favor of the buyer, refunding the full amount. The buyer repeatedly obstructed the return with ridiculous excuses to get to the end of the dispute and keep the money and the item for themselves. I filed an appeal documenting everything, and eBay recognized my reasons. Now my question is: when you win an appeal, as in my case, does eBay deduct the amount from the buyer or do they pay out of their own pocket? Because according to what I was told by an operator, the money is not taken from the buyer.
Thank you all

Mentore3 years agoIt depends on the case, sometimes there’s no refund at all while other times ebay refunds it.
