How do you handle feedback
This is not the first time this has happened to me: recently a seller told me they had shipped it but in reality I found out from tracking that they hadn’t, I clearly leave negative feedback (13 days and it still isn’t even marked as shipped, seller who couldn’t care less, forced to ask for a refund) and when after 20 days through Ebay I get the refund, magically the negative feedback is removed. I understand that you want to protect one of your customers, but this clearly comes at the expense of a real assessment that future customers will make of the seller and, consequently, of your credibility. I hope you will give me a thorough and not vague answer (this has already happened).

OP3 years agohere is eBay's response that confirms my suspicions (also because Poste Italiane has no record of any strike during the period, but above all it confirms to me that from the shipment tracking number this was never actually shipped!) :
Thank you for contacting us regarding item no. 154377605357 purchased on 15/04/2023 from seller giftech.
From the checks carried out, it appears that in April Poste Italiane, and other couriers, organized strikes causing deliveries not to be made on time and creating inconvenience for our users.
Since sellers have no responsibility for missed deliveries due to courier strikes, we decided to protect them in cases of receiving negative feedback due to missed deliveries or delivery delays.
I wish you good health, and all the best..
Kind regards,
Engert S.

Mentore3 years agoAnyway, contrary to what they told you at the post office, there were strikes that involved Poste Italiane and SDA staff on April 6, 19 and 21.

Mentore3 years agoA round of applause for ebay... at least sometimes they're on the sellers' side too!
Kind regards.

Mentore3 years agoConsidering that you're writing on a forum and not to eBay support, if the feedback was removed it's because it didn't comply with eBay's rules or it was defamatory.
What is hard to understand is that feedback doesn't solve problems; eBay has clear procedures to help in almost all situations... so use them... also because eBay itself penalizes sellers against whom various requests are repeatedly opened... feedback is only symbolic...
Kind regards.
