How can I contact e-bay or write a review about a seller
The seller Hoopherhear or Vevor, whichever you want to call it, despite having acknowledged a manufacturing defect, a defect that is also widely documented online in various forums, sites, etc. in the industry, has been engaging for months in a disgraceful and obscene back-and-forth.
At first they stalled, then they admitted the defect and proposed a replacement, then they offered an inadequate amount.
But every time I accepted the conditions, they moved the goalposts. And the back-and-forth starts again
I don't think eBay can help me, as other marketplaces do, (but of course it could ban certain shabby sellers)
However, it could at least allow me to write a negative review that warns other users about the seller's dishonesty.
After all, only in the long run can you see and evaluate after-sales service, the quality of materials, etc.
But after x days eBay doesn't help me and I can't even leave a review.
This seller doesn't even guarantee the minimum legal WARRANTY period.

Mentore2 years agoFeedback must be left within 60 days of purchase.
The ebay guarantee ensures receipt of the product and that it matches the listing, but it is only valid for 30 days from delivery.
In addition to ebay’s, there is the payment method guarantee (180 days with PayPal and 13 months with the credit card).
Finally, there is the legal warranty (24 months) that all EU professional sellers must provide to consumers.
The legal warranty is a legal obligation for them; if they deny it, you can report them to the gdf.

OP2 years agoI have no doubt that these are the rules, however you will agree with me that if the seller complies with the rules of the market where they operate (or is forced to, but the marketplace should do that) then the feedback problem becomes “less necessary” since there is a “guarantor”; but where, as I understand it, everything is left to the free “interpretation” of local laws (we are talking about Europe, not some charming Italian village on a little hill) for the seller, the only tool is feedback.
In that case, after the sweet talk, the kindness, and the promptness in replying, typical of the pre-sale phase, the problems arise in the after-sales phase, and if the seller (Chinese and not at all aligned with the rules of OUR common coexistence) decides to drag things out hoping you’ll give in from exhaustion, or decides to negotiate a flat fee compensation typical of certain markets (in its most folkloric meaning it is localized) you end up in a position of importance and at the mercy of their mood.
I believe that for at least a year, (the warranty period, in its least open to interpretation configuration, two years would be better) it should be allowed to leave feedback, not only to assess the product in use but also the after-sales service.
But more importantly, to defend yourself and other users from “bandits” who, behind enticing offers, palm off shoddy products and services.
Positioning itself as a marketplace in a Platonic sense
does not help, but probably it is just me and a few other friends of mine who see such an attitude badly and limit or even avoid purchases on this platform.
I greet you and thank you for the reply.
